A directed-energy weapon (DEW) is a weapon system that damages its target with highly focused energy without a solid projectile including: lasers, microwaves, particle beams, plasma and sound beams.
Potential applications of this technology include weapons that target buildings, missiles, personnel, vehicles, electronics or optical devices.
Until recently there was little concern over DEWs being used against civilian targets. However, recent wildfire events in Northern California and the Maui Conflagration have left tell-tale signs of the use of directed energy weapons.
Although seldom acknowledged, 4 and 5G technology developed by the U.S. Military was originally intended as a weapon for crowd control, while electromagnetic weapons systems using microwave technology capable of frying the human brain have been fully functional for more than 50 years.
Guest: Barrie Trower - Humanity At The BrinkHe trained at the Governments Microwave Warfare establishment in 60's and worked with the Royal Navy underwater bomb disposal unit, which used microwaves to neutralize explosive weapons systems. In the 70's Trower helped de-brief Russian spies trained in microwave warfare.

Guest: Dr. Peter Vincent Pry – is Executive Director of the EMP Task Force on National Homeland Security, a Congressional Advisory Board dedicated to achieving protection of the United States from electromagnetic pulse (EMP), cyber attack, mass destruction terrorism and other threats to civilian critical infrastructures on an accelerated basis.  Dr. Pry also is Director of the United States Nuclear Strategy Forum, an advisory board to Congress on policies to counter Weapons of Mass Destruction.
Dr. Pry served on the staffs of the Congressional Commission on the Strategic Posture of the United States (2008-2009); the Commission on the New Strategic Posture of the United States (2006-2008); and the Commission to Assess the Threat to the United States from Electromagnetic Pulse (EMP) Attack (2001-2008).
Dr. Pry served as Professional Staff on the House Armed Services Committee (HASC) of the U.S. Congress, with portfolios in nuclear strategy, WMD, Russia, China, NATO, the Middle East, Intelligence, and Terrorism (1995-2001). While serving on the HASC, Dr. Pry was chief advisor to the Vice Chairman of the House Armed Services Committee and the Vice Chairman of the House Homeland Security Committee, and the the Chairman of the Terrorism Panel. Dr. Pry played a key role: running hearings in Congress that warned terrorists and rogue states could pose an EMP threat, establishing the Congressional EMP Commission, helping the Commission develop plans to protect the United States from EMP, and working closely with senior scientists who first discovered the nuclear EMP phenomenon.
Dr. Pry was an Intelligence Officer with the Central Intelligence Agency responsible for analyzing Soviet and Russian nuclear strategy, operational plans, military doctrine, threat perceptions, and developing U.S. paradigms for strategic warning (1985-1995). He also served as a Verification Analyst at the U.S. Arms Control and Disarmament Agency responsible for assessing Soviet compliance with strategic and military arms control treaties (1984-19850.

The destruction of our power grid would bring our civil society to it's knees. A few days without electricity nationwide would be enormously difficult, weeks or months would be catastrophic, considering how totally dependent we have become on electricity for heat, lights, refrigeration; literally everything we need to sustain daily life. The use of EMP weapons is a very real threat to our national infrastructure and is a technology that is quite simple for anyone possessing nuclear weapon capability.
